I love the Cuphead soundtrack. Definitely gonna check out the Sam and Max soundtrack, because I had no idea jazzy and it's good (never played the games, but have them all).

As for my jazzy recommendations:

• Jungle by Night - a Dutch funky, jazzy, afrobeat group consisting of like 10+ people, great energy at the concerts and some awesome pieces. The Fog is my personal favourite, although it's not that popular, some other good ones: Kingfisher, The Ottoman Highlands, Jakten, Hangmat, Hurn in Bell. They don't really have a song I don't like
• Portico Quartet - one of the bands that made the hang popular, I like their older albums which are more like modern jazz, the newer ones dwelve into electronic music too much for my taste
• Mammal Hands - very emotional saxophone and cool guys irl, also great modern jazz
• GoGo Penguin - friends of Mammal Hands, I'm less into them than Mammal hands, but they do have some good pieces too
• Tonbruket - a band established by Dan Berglund from the Esbjörn Svensson Trio, a mixture of jazz with some other musical directions, thoroughly enjoyable
• The Bad Plus - well established modern jazz band, lost some of its charm (IMO) after the new pianist joined
• Tin Men & The Telephone - a band of my acquaintance, improv jazz (which I don't really enjoy that much) combined with a brilliant idea of having an app that influences how the guys play during the concerts, cool guys IRL, very anti-establishment :P

Hmm, I've never been a fan of jazz but I do like to listen to some jazzy music from time to time. Not game music buuuut...

Have you ever heard of Brian Blade? He's apparently a renowned jazz drummer. I discovered him through Black Dub loved their self-titled album! and one day, I saw this in my recommendations and I thought it was pretty cool. I loved watching him play.

Aaaaand how about a little bit of Nina Simone? ^_^
