I remember enjoying the old Gabriel Knight stuff, but I don't play this sort of game any more so who knows - maybe it's just not fun any more? Think it had a big discount some time in the past, but I don't remember anything specific... Oh well...

It's OLD. It has 3 different endings, and when it was originally released different theaters got a different ending. It wasn't super successful in theaters though, but it's got a cult following now. You should watch it!

A theatre near me does a showing every first friday of the month. They play the movie on the screen and act out the scenes below it. They did 3 showings around halloween of last year and it was packed for all three showings.

It's a bit campy, slightly dated, but in the end it was a solid hard-ish SciFi TV fun. I loved it!

Red Alert 3 was one of my favorite Tim Curry roles, simply because it was so unexpected, and he brought the perfect mix of "taking it seriously" camp that those games need.

Agreed! One of my favourite fantasy movies, and it looked really spectacular in spots. I liked Tom Cruise in this movie, as it occurred before he let Scientology take over his life. And I forgot that Tim Curry was the demon! He is such a versatile actor!:)

... Scientology. I don't know a lot on it, but it does seem a bit consuming if people get really involved in it (like steamgifts maybe haha). It is rather interesting how the movement has kind of "made use" of his prestige over time to try and spread word.
Definitely agree on Tim Curry being very versatile. He's been in a lot of nice roles... I think I have liked just about every movie I've seen him involved with. Even some of the animated stuff where you can't see him. I like the quirky strangeness of the characters he has picked.. perhaps they gave him some creative leeway to make them even more odd than they would have been... they suit him pretty well, I think. Good mix of genres over time, and a lot of villains and just interestingly peculiar vibes from most stuff.

When I was very little, I was obsessed with Annie (the original from 1982) and he is AWESOME in that as Rooster. Then when I was a bit older I had The Worst Witch on VHS tape and watched it over and over, as embarrassing as that is to admit. Then ... ahh, adolescence with the Rocky Horror Picture Show. <3

Well, to be fair, it is one of my favourite movies of all time, and I love the soundtrack to it as well.:)
He is good as Pennywise the clown in the orginal Stephen King mini-series called It, he was also great as the butler in the movie Clue (I also loved how they had different endings to it, where the killer ended up being a different person.:) ).
