Not really a contradiction.
He say with it that the keys must/should work but as we all know is nothing 100% by buyed or trade keys.
If you buy in the expensiver shops are the chances very high that you haven't a problem but it still can happen Last example was Ghoulboy from a Fanatical Bundle.

@Masafor I was commenting on the grammar, it is a syntactical error. I'm not just being a douche or looking for an argument - merely helping someone out. Cthulukid's variation with "should" instead of "must" is an example of a better way to communicate the point for instance.
