My Little Pony XD

While it's only loosely historically accurate, MASH is definitely my favourite. That show is really exceptional for being so good at both humour and drama. It's also a relatively accurate, albeit exaggerated, portrayal of how continuous tragedy affects people (at least from what I've seen). After a while you do start to crack somewhat from the continuous strain but you also find happiness in unexpected ways and places.

I would consider the Tudors my fav historical tv show.. although.. nothing beats a good book ^^

The Da Vinci's Demons tv series wasn't too bad, and I think it's the closest thing to "historical series" I've ever watched >:D
