If thats the case, try playing Heroes of Newerth instead to keep the masochism levels low. Its quite like Dota 2 but just a whole, whole lot better like, better announcers, better music, better heroes in many ways with skills, looks, voices, avatars and else, more heroes to choose from, more game modes and maps, better shop, no bullshit secret shop and best of all, no russians. Switch between the two mobas and perhaps you wont feel the masochism as bad, i think it would help but thats just my lone suggestion ofcourse.
