if you don't have any source of informations about free games, check the discussions (I've already filtered them for you to show only those with "free" in their title); whenever there's a game being given away for free a new thread pops up to inform us :)
don't limit yourself as those discussions only though, you'd be missing the best part of sg!

I actually have already setup Enhanced Steam Gifts & Steam Trades [That was time consuming! I still might try tweaking it more though; as WOW was it worth the time in the long run, ;)] as well as RA Chart Enhancer, ITAD Everywhere, Augmented Steam & Steam Database to help with managing discussions. Well for a lot more than just managing discussions of course. Though it helps with discussions. Being able to highlight & bookmark & what not; but I digress. Though if you're aware of anything I'm not using that is useful; definitely let me know, :)
Edit: RA Chart Enhancer may be redundant with ESGST. Your post has really helped me fix up some things!
However; I've yet to use any filters in discussions! Thanks for the link & reminding me to use filters!
I use advanced filters often in giveaways but I forgot about them in discussions. I wasn't even thinking. That's a game changer!
Filters will help manage discussions compared to just marking things as read or highlighting & bookmarking.
