Be aware that this game is banned from Steam, and SG might let you join even though you already own it, so check if possible.

Keys usually never expire, if someone doesnt use them, but I'm not sure about banned games.
You can try the keys in a Steam account with this game already redeemed.
It will tell you if the keys is working or not, without burning it activating the game. : )

I know they never expire, but as they are from old giveaways, I can't tell if they'll work or not without activating them.
If you try to activate a key in an acc that already have it, you would get a message telling that you already own it, but that doesn't mean that the key works, just that you own the game that the key can activate if it works.
At least, I've always got the same message with redeemed keys and unredeemed keys if I already own the game.

Yeah, you can get both messages if you don't own the game and the key doesn't work, but if it's duped, you won't know until you try to activate it on an account that doesn't own it.

Keys don't expire AFAIK. Valid keys always work regardless of a non-existent store page. For as long as the game is in the system, you will be able to own it: https://steamdb.info/app/473620/
This is true even for free games. All that matters is if it is still in the Steam system. Games are obtainable through keys or (in the case of free games) through forcing the license via the bootstrapper.
