There was still a lot of stuff I hadn't finished exploring, have a vague memory of grinding to get my equipment upgraded, and some dlc (?) area... Sigh...
Hmm, I think it's the sort of game where I'd have to spend a few hours remembering how to play , should probably save it for when I have a whole week... Or I should have started yesterday... :( Basically, don't take a break from playing a RPG, if you ever want to see the finish line... :)

I can relate with this. Even though it's one of my favorite franchises, I've never finished a Fallout game because I got burned out after 80-90 hours and never picked them back up again
I remember finishing the first Fallout game, but that was a long time ago... :( The recent ones are a lot of fun, but I can't remember if I've actually seen the credits. Maybe New Vegas? Checking the achievements... Aha, yes, I actually finished that one. Didn't touch the dlc, though. :(
Not only RPGs.. I'm stuck in Batman Arkham City because I paused playing right before a battle with some thugs/mobs and I can't turn back, neither can I progress as I'm not accustomed anymore to its keys and I can't win :v
(to be fair, I think I'd need some more tries to beat it but as I saw I wasn't I've stopped playing again) =P
Hmmm, ouch... Can you set it to easy mode temporarily, until you remember how to play it? I think games could notice if you're loading a save from months ago, and enable all the tutorial help stuff again... :)
I'm completely useless at those Batman games, just mash buttons until something happens... :)
I played this one a bit on Xbox360, too. I haven't played it on Steam yet, though I think I got it from a Humble monthly.
Too many games to play and not enough time. Steamleft tells me it would take 9437 hours to complete playing my Steam backlog, but I suspect it's underestimating the time I spend in open world games.
I think those counter things are useless, and not just because of open-world games... :) Nobody will ever play all their games, because we keep buying more games... :)

Yep, it does look fun. Hopefully I'll be able to actually follow the main quests this time around instead of getting side-tracked for 180 hours by all the side stuff there is to do like I did in Skyrim... ^_^'
I thought getting side-tracked was the whole point of Bethesda games, feels like the main quest is that thing you never start so you can just run around having fun... :)
Hmm, speaking of that, I installed all my Steam games up to 2017-something, but ran out of room in the case and sata connections on the motherboard. :( Thought I might pull those drives out and make a homemade NAS thing from a spare pc instead, but discovered my spare pc wouldn't boot, so "screw it" won out. Oh well. :(
I found that cramming the HD with lots and lots of games very useful in burning through the backlog. One day you will need some space for something and will be forced to decide that, yes, you will never meaningfully play that game, ever. Then you put that game into your "meh" category, uninstall it and move on.
Aha, that's not a bad idea... My internet speed sucks so I really don't like to uninstall things... Maybe uninstalling garbage I'm sure I'll never touch again would work, though... Hmm... :)
