Just applied for a new job. Best interview/job searching advice?

Good luck! Here are some tips for interviews...

  • Have examples prepared beforehand that hit different criteria, such as dealing with difficult clients/colleagues, working with a team, time you have showed initiative etc.
  • Use the STAR Method when giving examples
  • Remember that it is OK to pause and think about the answer, and to ask to come back to a question later if you are otherwise just going to sit in silence! (make sure you do come back to it).
  • Have questions prepared for the end of the interview for when they ask if you have any questions..!

Actually, you can find real great advice from experts in job-seeking platforms. Google and use good judgement about which pages seem better, and also what advices might be suited for the kind of job or interview you're heading for.
Best wishes, mate.

Ask questions.
I'm responsible for recruitment to my team and I'm always happy when I see a candidate who knows what he's looking for. Sometimes good question from a candidate is better than answer for hard question.
Good luck :)
