Rise of the Tomb Raider for me.

My GOTY was Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, probably would have been The Witcher 3 but some problems kept me from being able to buy games this year and MGS V was a gift.

Best game I played this year was Spec Ops: The Line, almost was Deus Ex: Human Revolution, but the moral subtext of Spec Ops won me over.

Tales from the Borderlands is my GOTY.

Honorable mention :

For me Navpoint was the game I enjoyed playing the most this year

FIFA 16 but thats probably because its pretty much the only game im actually playing, so i might be a bit biased, lol

Fallout 4 and Dying Light for me, with the edge going to FO4.

For now, I'm loving Tales of Zestiria. It's funny, got a great atmosphere (and the music is amazing), and has a new take on the Tales of battle system that feels new and fresh.

Plus, getting Tales of Symphonia as a preorder bonus is a definite plus haha.

Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth and GTA V

Borderlands 2 and Skyrim for me.

Mine would have to be Fallout 4. It's checked all the boxes of a great game for me, despite some weird design choices and bugs. Batman: Arkham Knight (on my PS4 - I'm sure I'd feel differently if I'd gotten it for PC :) ) is a close second.

Nuclear throne-

i've only played 5 games that were released this year that I loved..... h1z1, Witcher 3, Game of Thrones(TellTale game), Battlefront and Assassins Creed Syndicate..in no particular order.

Considering the time i spent on them this year i would say:

1. Skyrim
2. Crusader Kings II
3. Sid Meier's Civilization V
4. Mount & Blade: Warband
5. Euro Truck Simulator 2

Witcher 3

I'd go Fallout 4, played over a hundred hours in just over a week the week it came out, no other game has kept me that entertained that long since I was a kid playing FF6. By no means a perfect game, tons of things I'd change, many of which I did change once I got the PC version after that week and downloaded tons of mods lol but it's great despite the flaws there are.

Second best I played this year, Chroma Squad, had no idea it would be such a blast til I got it in the Humble Monthly, played it til I beat it the moment I installed it.
