I agree. And I do not want to have to install a whole new theme, I like this theme but would like a lighter background on the buttons OR a brighter font for the letters.

The title pretty much says it, with this new low-contrast header bar I have to struggle to see the amount of points I have. It's not too good at usability.
The bg color for the highlighted active tab on the left would be fine for that button too.
