It is just a random guess, matched by some other random comments below, stating the same thing.
Go buy Indiegala bundle or Humble Bundle and know exactly what you are getting.
These things of lottery are meant to make money, not give you the advantage.

That one of those random key things? Buying random keys means getting scammed. It will be a high number of bundles / free keys, because anything else would mean no profit. I doubt most would even have quality titles. Don't waste your time and money.

I think the way it's set up is to make money. I doubt they have more than one AAA game in their lottery, but they can still claim theres a chance to win something like Witcher 3. Ultimately, I think the whole lottery thing is a rip off and very anti-dev . Bundles aren't supposed to be resolod, nor are free key requests for reviewers. Why pay $3.99 to get a bundle game, when the bundle is <$3.99?

Couple friends of mine were given keys for games that were recently free, I'd steer clear of it.

Both of which have recently been bundled. Store price of the game is pretty much irrelevant.

Huntsman was free in Amazon too, you could get unlimited copies if you wanted.

"You can get game that costs over 50€ for only 2€".

Due to their excellent grasp of English, I'm almost tempted to allow myself to get scammed!

Or you could have payed 2.82 and get 10 games: http://www.bundlestars.com/all-bundles/trinity-2-bundle/
'cause the Makers is still bundled.

Wasn't Huntsman free, like a dozen times and bundled triple that?

Cheerful soul ain't I :) A friend of mine used to say it and as someone who doesn't gamble I rather like it... now excuse me while I expend valuable time on bidding for games i could buy for a few quid :P

I'd be very surprised if they even had one AAA title in that lottery.

I think they should make public every game you can win, the odds you have for each of those games and the results for previous lotteries. Then I would consider to enter or not. (More likely not)

I've done this a few days ago and I got a game from 12$ or so (surely no AAA) but it had been in a bundle like 2 years ago so I don't think you'll get good games!

edit: it was Still Life or 1954 Alcatraz

Looks like a scam to me. Even if you get AAA games, remember, there's been bundled AAA games in the previous EA bundles and THQ bundles so you paying 2$ for something that's been in the 1$ tier is still win for the website.

but as you can see on the other comments:
its not about worth of game
its about being bundled or not?
and if i were you, i would ask myself how to finance this?
i dont know about server costs and stuff but
i mean when the sie gets popular you need a good server i think and that costs right?
