They discount both AAA and indies but ubisoft,EA tittles often come with Origin/Uplay keys not with steam. Also there are 20% vouchers.

Yeah, very similar to steam sales so both AAA and indies.

Last year they even gave some free games (Rotastic, Stellar Impact and some of Sniper Elite V2 DLC depending on country)

Out of the various websites I keep an eye on, GMG is the least impressive. They are the one least likely to offer a game I want, least likely to mark it down, and when they do mark it down, their markdown is smaller than anyone else's. I only check GMG because even the world's worst shot can hit the target occasionally.

I agree with you, but it's not that bad for us Europeans. They are one of the few online game sellers that actually let's us pay in USD, and doesn't have that stupid 1$ = 1 euro "rule" most other sites seem to use.

They switched to € a few months ago for me, and many others.

The regional pricing switch was the first nail in the coffin, for me. The fact that they screwed up my account with Playblink was the second.

GMG sales are still far superior to getgamesgo.com sales.
Seriously, it feels like ages since the last good deal they (GGG) had.

No argument, there. I stopped shopping at GGG some time ago.

As far as I know, they are the only site where you can essentially get a lot of free games (reliably, not by chance like giveaways) due to their Playfire Rewards program.

I have a feeling due to playfire rewards any GMG sale will be a bit underwhelming due to do everyone having so much credit. I doubt we will see many 75% off items anymore. Probably 50% off max and the typical 20% off coupon with $10 or more purchase.

They usually have more focused deals like "2K Week/Ubisoft Week etc" and sometimes they have better deals than steam for AAA (Thief, Borderlands 2 recently) but browsing their site is really hard :/

Right now humblebundle's store is having it's version of the last day of Steam's sale. (Their final day was two days, but at time of writing it's one day and a little over 8 hours left.) So you might want to go over and check it out to see if they have any games you don't want to wait three months or so until the steam summer sale. Games like Arkham Origins, Scribblenauts unmasked, Octodad, Just Cause 2, Game dev tycoon, Democracy 3, Surgeon simulator, Sleeping Dogs, Kerbal Space Program, and a lot more are on sale over there. Then there is one game I would suggest to consider pre-ordering on there because I love the developer, Nerdook, and it's his first step outside of the free flash game realm. It's called Vertical Drop Heroes HD. All of his flash games were great so I expect this to be pretty good as well.

Their sales used to be really good, I bought a lot from them last year, and yes, there were several AAA titles with 75% off, but ever since they changed my currency to GBP, everything is a lot more expensive, even when discounted so I am only buying from them with GMG credits that I get from playfire.

The nice thing is that you can also get 0.25 back if you review a product that you bought and it gets accepted and until fairly recent times you could use coupons on any purchase, not only on those that are woth 10 or more, I'll have to agree that it's not as good as it used too, but there may still be good deals in the future.

They WERE cheapest months ago where you could hit 75% x 25% discount per titles for every country...

Then got hit by regulations... Now they have regional pricing, their 75% sales gone seldom, 25% is only for non-discount early titles, 20% is only above 10$(or other currency) purchases, they've changed some steam games to "other" drm. Also the notorious and problematic playfire rewards where you rush to finish a good game in days (where you can enjoy some good games for weeks) for rewards that might not be awarded to you...

In short GMG is still decent but their glorious days are over...

I find them OK. Everything has always been in GBP for me as I'm GB, and I think their prices match up fairly well with other stores in this currency.

One negative I would have is the introduction of the minimum spend to be eligible for the coupon codes (got to spend £10, $10 or 10 euro to be eligible). They brought those in at around the time Playfire started giving the rewards, just after they had the winter sale. I found myself buying less from them in the Spring sale, and in general from them since.

The 20% or 25% coupons used to give them a big edge over other stores for me, but it's not there so much now. I mean, if we take a AAA $40 (US price) title and put it @ 75% off it translates to about £6.25 in GBP. I could once use a 20% coupon on that for a further discount to get it for £5. Now I can't as it doesn't meet the minimum spend, and if there's nothing else I want at the time then I'm less likely to buy from them. It puts them more in line with some of the other stores for me instead of standing above them.

Still. I think overall they're pretty good. Just looked up through my order history there and I have picked up 98 titles from them, so I've used them quite frequently, just less so recently because of the terms of those coupons changing.

Haven't you noticed the little tiny font on the bottom line of the vouchers? Since they go to only GBP prices their vouchers all went 20% or 25% only on selected titles + only if you pay more than 10 pounds (so if your game is discounted at 9.99 you can't apply these voucher codes) :(

Just add cheap DLC to order and you can use coupon :)
