So, where did everyone go?

Is today just a weird day or did people really leave the site for good after the Contribution Value change?

No one seems to join giveaways anymore, especially contributor giveaways. Where there THAT many abusers in the community?

Also, my first Thread here, i thought i should make a worthless one like everyone else does :)

Most of the giveaways right now are bundle keys / the ship / nuclear dawn. If you notice those games get 100/200 entries while others have alot more

I did, one of the reason i'm asking.. that one had like 600 entries right? A few days ago that would have been at least twice as many.

Well, it's not that few for me but I also observed that people who didn't met the requirements after the Great Purge were still in this giveaway... In my opinion there's at least a week to wait for results and see (when most of ongoing giveaways right now will end).

I asked about that in the first "we're thinking of changing things" thread, and the response I got (I think from jade) was basically... the system won't auto-remove people who retroactively don't qualify, points will not be returned (unless you remove yourself normally), and if you win but don't meet the requirements... reroll, unless the gifter is understanding and lets it slide.

This is likely to be the most dramatic readjustment unless the contributor system gets a major overhaul again, so it's only going to affect a reasonably small number of contributor giveaways over the long run.

I gave away one of those "cheap games everyone already has" in celebration of bundle keys being allowed, and got over 500 entries in a 12-hour period.

Don't enter things you wouldn't want to win..

It's not "no one" but the numbers are quite low, when it comes to public giveaways, the last 24 hours have probably been the best in the whole month.. if you didn't want to win Shadowgrounds that is.
