Pi is the ratio between radius and circumference. But in this case it was a wordplay because it is his cake day aka pie day aka pi day aka 3.14 day aka 3.14 earthrotation

I prefer Castle Crashers. It was more cool and entertaining for me and friends. Also it has a good gameplay and the characters are funny.
I like it. And if you will play alone, go for Castle too.
But, that's my opinion :)

Castle Crashers has a better story, imo. I didn't like the narrator in Battleblock that much. He was too... over-the-top. D:

Battleblock Theater. I wasn't a big fan of castle crashers. BT seemed to do something unique and really well!

Both made me smile a lot and are muuuch fun but CC is more diversified and Battleblock is better to laugh your a## off.
Battleblock also focusses on 2-Player Co-Op and CC can be played with 4 (there's 4 player support in BB too, but only selected stages)
Aaand.. BB has CUSTOM HEADS! :D
(CC has animal orbs on the other hand)

I played some Castle Crashers with friends and finished Battleblock Theater alone. They're both good games, but their gameplay is quite different. Choose which interests you in that aspect.

I like Castle Crashers really good Game, but I love Battle Block Theatre. It's the best Coop game out there imo

I only played Battleblock Theater and it was a really good game. Enjoyed both singleplayer and multiplayer.
If you like puzzle platformers then definitely go for BT.
If you want a beat 'em up game I'd recommend Rampage Knights over Castle Crashers. However do note that RK only has 2 player Co-Op (both online and local). It's also really fun in single player.
And it's got procedural generation for levels and loot so every run will be different.

I watched videos for Castle Crashers and the combat doesn't seem anywhere as fun as the combat in Rampage Knights, that's why.
However since RK's story is almost non-existant (you literally just get a short intro when you first launch the game and that's it) the story of Castle Crashers is bound to be much better.
So I'd assume Castle Crashers would be better choice for someone who cares more about story, and Rampage Knights would be a better choice for someone who cares more about gameplay.
I probably shouldn't have said I recommend RK over CC but rather suggested OP to look into RK as a possible alternative.

Castle Crashers is by far the better game in my opinion, to me Battleblock is one of the most disappointing indie games in gaming history (maybe a slight exaggeration).
I was super excited for it and got into the 360 Beta, but i'm sorry it just sucks.
