You CAN play with a ⌨ & 🖱 but you SHOULD just use a 🎮 instead because you need the analogue movement to do the platforming and fighting otherwise you will become easily exasperated and 😫, and since everything is lock-on you don't need precise aiming from 🖱

Dark Souls 3 definitely controller :P Dark Souls 2 is possible with a mouse but for 1 and 3 a controller. I have some video differences my friend did if you'd like with the first boss :P

I've beated DS1 with M&K and I'm playing DS2 with M&K too

(I have a 360 controller but I still prefer M&K)

Only played with a controller but guessing the usual rule applies, controller gives more fluid movement while m/kb better camera

i have no idea, first one was unplayable with mouse and keyboard. Maybe with mousefix is playable, with only with dsfix isn't.

Dark Souls is praised as one of the hardest games ever so naturally you have to use a keyboard and mouse (who are also controllers in a way but still), unless you're playing on console, then there is no choice

I cant speak for keyboard and mouse for DS3, but I tried a bit of the keyboard controls for DS1 and it was basically unplayable for me. I have heard that they improved the keyboard controls in the later games, but a controller is still probably better.

i no play ds with gamepad. but y play other games with gamepad. Play on the controller is better than on the keyboard (except for only a few shooters and quests)

M+Kb work fine in game III, much better than before, didn't had any problems before my copy was removed. :(

I've never tried to play with a controller, I usually play only with keyboard and mouse with 20 programmable buttons ^^
