I wrote to them this email message:

"Sorry, but when I activated my Steam key for Men of War Vietnam (with DLC) from the Men of War Bundle, I forgot that I already owned Men of War Vietnam (without DLC) from your Dynamite Reloaded Bundle. The result is that I just get one Men of War Vietnam instead of two, i.e. one of them was just consumed and disappeared. I just wonder if it would be possible for Bundlestars to provide one extra Steam key for Men of War Vietnam to me so that I can play coop with my family."

...without expecting any positive result.

But to my surprise, their customer service wrote back and said:

"Sorry but we have no keys for MOW Vietnam. Here is another complimentary key for the version with DLC:- D94BC-ZATAE-46JMV"

What else can I say? And I know I will continue to support Bundlestars.

That's pretty pathetic that you even asked in the first place or that would be pretty pathetic if you had actually asked.

I can't sense sarcasm in text, so not sure if this is legit or not.

Sorry OP but I have to agree with Peroxide. Hope that Bundlestars won't be flooded by mails for "extra free" keys.
BTW, IndieGala has very good support too. I bought King's Bounty bundle in August and recently I realised that one key is duplicated (I've already had the game so I couldn't check the key). They sent me new key in 15 minutes after my first mail.

What is the main difference between your case and mine?

If you activate a key when you already have the game, the key will not be consumed. When you asked for a new key, how did you dispose of the old one? You actually got a key that you hadn't paid for.

In my case, I got a DLC I didn't pay for. Pathetic? Maybe, but I'm a happy consumer now.

Except no. Everyone knows you won't get any extras if you double activate a game. It's your reponsibility to know what games you own. Your mistake, not theirs.

Indie Royale has also great support. I wasn't subscribed to their newsletter before the Jubilee bundle came out so I didn't get bonus keys. I bought the bundle anyway and wrote them a message if I could get some spare ones to give away. Surprisingly, I got them quite soon.

By the way, the ninja who took Tower Wars please write something here so that I know it's taken.

I am about to post another key there.

Get ready, ninjas.

Well I didn't take it, but someone else did. I just tried it and it says "duplicate product code"

I got a free copy of the Command and Conquer Complete Collection when EA wasn't able to transfer Command and Conquer 3 to my other account. Good thing, too, since I would never have bought Command and Conquer 4 because of the DRM.
