The classic boasting thread and almost the only reason why we still keep buying games during those sales, right?

They are also axing Mac OSX High Sierra and Mojave. There's a warning on my intel mac's steam app that says they will stop supporting it in 53 days. lol. These are the last mac OS's that support 32bit games.

Yea, sounds reasonable. /s Only M$ the creator of Win 7 also dropped it. It is also now unsafe to use since there will be no more security updates and it's your own fault if something happens. Weird hill to die on dude.

Good choices. I'm obliged to say that as a fair share of my spent money so far also went into the pockets of Square Enix.

The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe - $9.99
Lost Forest - $1.19 - Refunded (not properly functional on the Deck)
Darkest Dungeon® II - $22.49
Werewolf: The Apocalypse - Earthblood - $2.99
Rainswept - $3.35
Cube Escape: Paradox - Chapter 2 - $1.67
Tails of Iron - $4.99
Title_Pending - $3.99
The Plague Doctor of Wippra - $4.39
Battlefield V - $4.00
Saints Row The Third Remastered + Bloodsucker Pack + Unlockable Pack - $3.60
Alt-Frequencies - $1.99

And then I bought the remaining Hike series games I had not already played:

Cozy Village - $0.79 - played
Fall Valley - $0.83 - played
Cozy Hike - $0.79 - played
Magical Hike - $0.55 - played
Woodland Isle - $0.55 - played
Sunland Hike - $0.55 - played
Cozy Trip - $0.55 - played
Woodland Town - $0.38 - played
Cozy Desert - $0.55 - played

I currently have 17 cents remaining in my Steam Wallet, so that's probably a wrap on this one. Although, I did just sell a couple guitar pedals IRL, so I leave the door cracked just in case.

Time to start playing through the Autumn, Halloween, and Winter Sale gamez.

I would wait for launch day, sometimes they do 10% off. Also, no reason to preorder since they won't run out of keys.

Have fun with The Great Ace Attorney, I think these two games together have the best constructed overall storyline out of all AA games.

my cart started at just over $80.
I trimmed a few things(like all the higurashi chapters that weren't at least 50% off, a freshly released VN and 1 other thing) and spent just over $40.

Visual Novel Haul! ... the other genres didn't have good enough sales for me. Mostly went for single installment games, or ones where its only the last I need to pick up(Higurashi being the only exception)
Games I bought:
Higurashi chapters 2-4(all 50% off, which is the best discount they will get... outside of bundles which its been a couple years)
Vampires Melody 2 - I enjoyed the first one enough that I thought I underpaid... so the 40% discount was more than enough here
Marco & The Galaxy Dragon - no specific reason on this one,
Fox Hime - for some reason this doesn't get sales... at all(past 3 years its been the same $2... so I picked it up instead of waiting)
How to date a magical girl - no specific reason on this one.
Starlight of Aeons - another no specific reason on pickup.
Adabana Odd Tales... I would have been better off waiting for June to buy this(would get a discount of 40-50% instead of 30%), it seems to get the best sales on anniversary's of its launch... but I wanted to play it well before then so I picked it up

I was going to pick up ONE and Atri as well, but I wanted to reduce the spending during the sale.

added Horizon Zero Dawn and Star Wars Squadrons to my Haul.
Decided to redeem my accidental double purchase of Langrisser and Thumper instead of getting it refunded... selling my switch copy of Langrisser will get my money back(even if I just sell to gamestop ill get most of it back).

Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition and Mass Effect: Legendary Edition.
Was hoping for some DLC to be better discounted but no such luck.
Got a big backlog to play as it is anyway
I also bought The Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria on the Epic Games Store as 4 of my friends bought it this week and it seemed like a lot of fun, even in its early stages of development.

Yeah, I got plenty of games as candidates but barely any DLC. Usually, these represent a fair share of my purchases but ... 20% off 5 years after release won't result in me buying it now, dear developers.

Assetto Corsa Competizione DLC Pack (80% discount compared to the 7 DLC normal prices)
Need For Speed Heat (95% off)

Total €24.64. More than I intended but I see myself playing ACC real soon. I had to pay €7 extra as my wallet wasn't enough. I planned to only spend wallet and nothing else, but since it might be the last buy in a long time, I thought it was worth it.

I should have bought Glass Masquerade 3, but... 2025.

From Steam only 4 and all of them gifts. Mass Effect: Legendary x2 and Against the Storm x2
Then from Fanatical and GMG I got for myself Persona 5 Royal, IXION, Detroit Become Human, Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy, Let's School and Tactics Ogre Reborn. Plus a friend gifted me Outer Wilds. So I'm pretty well situated till probably the summer sale :P
Discounts/vouchers/steam wallet excluded it all came at about 125€

$152.76 AUD. Since I sold a fair amount of Counter Strike skins I went a bit crazy compared to my normal spending.
Days Gone - $18.73
LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga Galactic Edition - $19.99
Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered - $56.97
Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales - $44.97
Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 1 & 2 Double Pack - $12.10

Still have plenty of other CS skins to sell though, but this should tie me over till June sale I hope ... probably April but will cross that bridge when I get to it.

I'm tempted by Actraiser Renaissance, because I loved these games so much on the SNES. But I doubt that a simple remake offers enough to satisfy these days.

If Square Enix only had the balls to combine a god-like/survival city builder with a roguelike with procedural generation à la Dead Cells or Rogue Legacy, this would have GOTY potential.
