So, recently my girlfriend gifted me with this and I am loving every crisp sound and bass.

What do you guys use for your gaming headphones? or if you use any other for daily usage.

I am skeptical about sound quality from wireless ones.

I was too since I'm old enough to had a headset just when the first bluetooth version came out. Now we're at version 4 and just like wlan (which started at 11mbps and now had 300mbps over 2 frequencies (2.4 and 5 Ghz)) bluetooth is way better then it was. On the iMac I'm using a wireless mouse, keyboard and headphone all over 1 integrated bluetooth adapter and all works smooth. Sound quality is superb.

The headphone is rechargeable via USB and also had an cable for when the battery is drained (can listen 6-12 hours with only 1,5 hours of charging)

I still use my old music production studio cans, actually been using them for the past 8 years or something now & only had to replace the cable on them once. By the way they are a pair of Sennheiser HD-215's. Super comfortable as I can wear them all day long without them hurting my ears or squeezing my head or whatever, they just sit really nice.

I would anyday prefer more for comfortable headphones in long hours sessions.
Amen to that.

I believe you can get them fairly cheap these days from UK / EU. They cost me about €100 at the time I bought them because...

a. media markt
b. spain = expensive for almost all electronic goods

However it depends on whether you don't mind colorless sound as they are made for music production so they have a flat sound (no bass or treble boosting), which doesn't really matter anyway as you can always boost that with EQ settings on your sound card settings or your audio / video applications.

I have Takstar TS-671 - I like them but I mostly use technics tower speakers. But they sound much different so I like to connect them from time to time, some songs sounds much better on them.

I'm using a Teufel Aureol Real
Great headphones! Amazing sound and finally some headphones that do not hurt after a while when wearing glasses :)

There are different colors available. I got the black ones because they were discounted. But I really like the look of the red / white ones ^^

I have a pair of HyperX Cloud II for about a year now.
I bought them because of all the positive reviews and recommendations I can find on the net and it really did deliver said reviews.

I'm using Beyerdynamic DT880 - fantastic, open back headphones that leak sound but let you hear what's going on around you too. Zero noise isolation, but I can hear when someone's calling for me or the phone rings.

I've attached an Antlion ModMic to them for voice chat. Sound quality of the mic is great, except they don't pair well with my Realtek integrated audio and my DAC doesn't have a mini plug mic in.

I don't know, when I just plug in the headphone jack, I only get one channel I think (was watching something and only got the background noises, birds chirping etc., not the people talking + other noises), when I use the the thing that came with it and the mic is connected too, I can hear everything, but it's reeeeeeeeally quiet. It used to work fine on my laptop, haven't tried it there in a while, but with both my old and my new (gaming) pc they're useless ... I still have a voucher for some software thing that came with it, maybe that can fix it?

Edit: Okay, tried them again now and they work like they should, I guess - but why so much bass? Listened to a song and the bass almost drowned out the rest XD (+ some slight static noise every now and them, hm ...)

yeah try that, its razer surround.
helps you optimize it and provide better surround sound, maybe some drivers issue.
also try connecting with your phone and play some music to check if something wrong with headphone or just other hardware.

They are really good, but the pricetag is steep. But it's a purchase I do not regret.

40mm Driver unit
In line mic for mobile phone
Thick durable headband

Personally I'm using Superlux HMC631, and it beats everything else I've tried up to today - "gaming" headsets are marketing bullshit most of the time. Today I'd probably buy something like Sennheiser PC330. Those are cool choices if somebody wants to buy good quality for money, as everything above this point costs much more and doesn't offer that better quality either (and most choices in fact sound much worse).

I use Sennheiser HD 598 for PC (both for gaming and listening to music) and for TV, and they are just awesome in every aspect (aside from price, of course).
