"Look behind you! A three-headed monkey!"

Hello everybody!
First of all I want to thank you all for this marvellous community, it's only two months I'm here and I already feel like home.
In the last days I've been thinking a lot about creating a train with a specific theme: the graphic adventures. I'm a longstanding graphic adventure's enthusiast and I simply love the good old point-and-click games... I've started with the Lucas Arts games (Monkey Island and Loom are definitely my favourites) a lot of years ago and since then I played almost every game present in this train (with only one big exception, but you'll know why reading the last game's description).
A big thank you to LostSoulVL that explained me step-by-step how to create a train: you had a ton of patience, mate! I really appreciated your help.
Here and there you'll find some QTE's games: they're not properly graphic adventures but I enjoyed a lot of them too (especially the Telltale games).
Last but not least: can you name in the comments your favourite graphic adventures? Maybe I could use some of your suggestions and add some new games to my wishlist.
Are you ready for this long train? It's the first one I created, so I hope I haven't made any mess. It's for level 3+ (except for the last three games that are lvl 4+) and it's protected with Sgtools. It will last one week.

ENJOY THE RIDE!

Thanks to Nudiustertian we have an extra cart for this train!

Really nice train with a lot of great games. Thanks a lot :)

Life Is Strange is one of my favorite games of all time. Another favorite is Torin's Passage, but that may be because of nostalgia since it was one of the first PC games I ever played.

Some other favorites are:
The Longest Journey
The Cat Lady
The Whispered World
Still Life
Machinarium

Wow, you remember Torin's Passage! I loved those Sierra games so much... You're the second to point out The Cat Lady, I should definitely try it out. Thanks for the tip!

I enjoyed The Cat Lady a lot, but it is definitely not for everyone. It's more of an interactive story than a classic point and click and it's a dark game that deals with depression and suicide. The plot is actually what drew me to the game the most and I enjoyed it a lot. If you think you would enjoy this type of game, I would highly recommend it.

Bump! I've played many of these excellent games, but a few wishlisted ones here too. I'm a big fan of the gabriel knight series, but Day of the Tentacle might be my favouite going by the number of times I've played it.

Thanks for top train!

I've seen your thread, but I always arrived too late for the giveaways I was interested in. I hope to remedy that and join in some of your GAs in the next days!

Thank you for an amazing train! <3 Makes me really nostalgic!
I always remember The Longest Journey & Grim Fandango with fondness... & the Ace Ventura: Pet detective game holds a special place in my heart for no good reason other than nostalgia :D

I clearly remember that I played Ace Ventura at my cousin's place a ton of years ago. That was fun! Do you know if it became a freeware, meanwhile? Damn nostalgia...

An adventurous train to be sure! Thank you.:)

Hmmmm. Adventures that I have loved over the years?

Maniac Mansion (C64 version)
Day of The Tentacle (never did get the Talkie version). I own the Remastered version, but haven't played it yet...for shame!
King's Quest (I've only played KQ III - VI so far)
Dead Synchronicity: Tomorrow Comes Today (there is going to be a continuation! Yay! It had a really harsh cliff-hanger ending!)
Quest For Glory (I only played IV, but I want to play all of them so I can have the special option with regards to the Lady In The Lake encounter!)
Tangled Tales (C64)
Tass Times In Tone Town (C64)
Mind Shadow (C64)

I really enjoy this genre, and need to play more of them!:)

I did own the first two Monky Island games way back when, but I didn't play them either.

Wow, finally someone who played with C64 like myself. I'm glad to know I'm not the only old gamer, here... XD
You should definitely find some time and try the first two Monkey Island games, you won't regret it!

We old-timers need to stick together against those young whipper-snappers!;)

Did you ever get a chance to play any of the old King's Quest games? If so, what did you think of them?

Any RPG games for the C64 that you played and enjoyed the heck out of? I have a mental list of my top 10 favourite RPGs for it.:)

No, I didn't play any King's Quest game, unfortunately. I can't say RPGs are my favourite genre, but If I remember correctly, I played Ultima III, Wasteland and The Bard's Tale back in the days and they were absolutely stunning...

The sequel to Dead Synchronicity: Tomorrow Comes Today isn't confirmed though, is it?
Don't get me wrong, I'd love to have a sequel, just don't want to get my hopes up.
