Do you say GG even if it's not? [w/ Dota 2 Bonus Music]

I always say gg in Rocket League (the only online game I play) even if my team gets smashed or we smash them.

If the game was neutral or better I usually say it as a sign of politeness, usually coupled with WP to stress the fact that it is genuine.
If the game was clearly bad I consider it disrespectful if you are on the winning side, so I usually stick to WP (might follow up with a condolence for whatever caused the game to be bad). If losing, I'll say it if I'm in the mood or just stick to silence.
People who use GG to sulk (when losing), gloat (when winning) and generally just to be annoying and/or offensive, are assholes.

i had to look for gg since i don't play multiplayer any more. i used to thank everyone for playing with me (when i didn't get insults for being horrible), even if i lost. it was just common courtesy. :3

Depends on the game but yeah usually say GG if players weren't whining or behaving badly. To me, it's of a "thanks for the match" kinda thing.

If it was a really good game, I'll say gg. :) Even if I loose. Doesn't matter. I'll say 'gg wp'

If it on the other hand was a bad game, I won't say anything. If they were stomping or my team would be stomping I might even say 'bg' despite winning e.g.

I do hate when your teammates goes "gg" (in the sarcastic way) early on if someone gets first blood'ed or whatever. Just negative attitude spreading in that case.

No, if I don't feel the other person was playing fairly, I don't say GG. Some games have very manipulative unfun options of playstyles, and if the person is clearly making the game unfun to win (Brawlhala is a phenomenal example of how a developer can allow players to make the game unfun) I won't say GG whether I win or lose.

Those people that say GG when you lose the pistol round in CSGO. Why.

GG in certain circumstances might mean a sarcasm. Let's assume that your team got smashed, teammates didn't cooperate, opposite team was much more powerful. Then saying GG might sound in a sarcastic way. Besides, I always say GG whatever the game is, just because playing the game is one of the ways I spend my free time and I enjoy it.

If its a decent game then yes. Unless its a rape game where i loose 200-19 then i say shit game

Normally I do but sometimes when I really screwed up I just quit immediately when a game ends.

Yep, ggwp is common courtesy. Fuck the people that type bg or whatever.

I didn't even knew that saying "bg" is a thing. Either I say "gg" or nothing (when it really wasn't a good/fun game).

If it's a complete team wipe and we got our asses kicked i'll usually say "well...shit".

If you play this game you might consider it good so you can write GG every time you can =P
If you don't like this game you may never type GG or delete this game =d
I can write GG when I like how my enemies opponents AND my allies play =D
