If you still have an old copy of 2016 or something, 2019 will be the correct one to give away now.

What's included in the TS2019 base package?
Train Simulator 2019 will include five routes including The Rhine Railway: Mannheim - Karlsruhe, Frankfurt High-Speed Extension, Portsmouth Direct Line, Soldier Summit and the Salt Lake City Route Extension.

Is there any quality of life updates in TS2019?
There have been lots of fixes and improvements for TS2019, such as we’ve updated how the software uses the installed content database and, if you have a lot of content, you’ll find it will feel faster and smoother – and we’ve improved the search function too. We’ve also added a new feature that allows you to grab and move the clock hands in Quick Drive, so you’ll finally be able to run that 06:04 London Waterloo – Guildford Quick Drive service without having to set up a scenario.

Damn with all the DLC, this game will only cost me a bit over £5,000. Gotta be the most expensive game on steam currently.

Not the actual cost of the game, of course. It's a train collection hobby after all. It's not a "collect them all" type of thing and they never meant it that way. It's like saying "With all the games, video gaming will cost £200,000".

Yeah but with games like that, it tends to be for collectors so they probably will try if they can afford it.

Of course, that's with any hobby. It's just that it was never meant to be something where you get all of everything. You're supposed to pick and choose the ones you're interested in and get them.
Same with video games. You're never meant to collect all Steam games. Doesn't stop the fanatics from trying to do that though. But those people don't change the whole point though.

Reminder if you got Train Simulator back on the Groupees Kiss2 bundle: https://groupees.com/kiss2 , you will have TS2019 but with different DLC.

Here is the list of what you should have if you activated the key but never bought any dlc (highlighted in blue and circled):

Too bad 2018 didn't get Humble Bundled unlike 16/17.
