You don't have to own Origins, but the levels available are reworked a bit from the original levels that were in Origins. If you don't feel like buying both it might be worth it just to pick up Legends, but if you want the full Origins experience you should just buy Origins.

I bought Origins during winter sale. Just bought Legends as a gift and didn't redeem the gift yet. I read that one needs Uplay to run it? Can anyone enlighten me about this? I didn't need any Uplay client or account for Origins, just had to accept some EULA If I'm not mistaken. Do you need anything else other than to have the Steam client to run this game?

You need Uplay for Legends, you don't need it for Origins. Steam tells you about 3rd party DRM and EULAs and other things you'll need in the yellowish-brown highlight under the feature list, where it lists if it's single player, multiplayer, local co-op, etc.

oh crap! thanks for the info, never had to deal with 3rd Party DRM in steam so far. I see that Steam tells you about 3rd Party DRM but I wasn't sure whether this means you need a uplay account only or have an additional client running at the same time. so basically it means I would need both, which I think I won't do...

I have a feeling that Ubisoft is doing the same thing as Square Enix did before they made a humble bundle. Doesn't change the fact that I'm tempted to buy the M&M games XD.

I ended up getting Might & Magic X - Legacy | Call of Juarez® Gunslinger | Might & Magic: Heroes VI - Shades of Darkness.
I played Might & Magic: Heroes VI and enjoyed it. There was a lot of negativity because of the launch it had and some other non game related issues.

Well if you didn't like HoMM V i doubt you would like MMH VI. It's basicly a dumbed down version of the previous one, with less factions, less everything and it took a dump on the lore of the previous game as well. Just my humble opinion as someone who's been a fan of the series since HoMM 2.

Im thinking about buying Heroes VI - Shades of Darkness. I only played Herous V few years ago but i really like it. So Shades of Darkness is standalone DLC with new race and also includes all races from original game?

All those are even cheaper on Canadian Steam Store... hit Steamtrades if you want cheaper and pay by paypal.
For example..
Might and Magic Heroes VI Shades of Darkness can be found for US$3.25 instead of 3.74€.

I also liked Watch_Dogs but I'm not paying 15€ for a broken game lol, also South Park™: The Stick of Truth is 10€ well imo this game looks like some indie game and it's overpriced just because it has South Park characters, since I'm not fan I see this price as very bad and the game as nothing that special, if it was like 3.74€ I would get it :(
