I sometimes too lazy and wait almost a week before contacting the winner. So don't worry, he probably is lazy. XD

They're waiting for you to give them the game, because isn't that how giveaways work?

Sacrifice a goat, bathe in its' blood and talk to your preferred deity. Bout the best you can do in these cases.

Here's what I do:

• Step 1: Check GA: usually the legit guys leave a comment or say something in the description.

• Step 2: Check SG profile: if they have just registered, or have a number of GAs awaiting feedback, they likely don't understand how SG works.

• Step 3: Check the steam profile: if the game they are giving away is on their wishlist, or is a premium game (Skyrim etc) that they do not have, chances are high the GA is probably not legit.

If this is the case with you, it may be very possible that the user thought that creating a GA would win him the game. I would highly doubt that you will get the game if it doesn't check out.

Nevertheless, give him a week before marking as not received.

And finally: don't complain too much; you really haven't lost anything, and for every person that doesn't understand SG, there are 100s of very generous people who do.

Add him and ask if he's going to give you the game.

Wait 7 days, if you get it mark as received if you don't get it, mark as not received and move on (I hope that you'll get to mark it as received though, gl).

Yeah, sounds awesome, i tried to add her/him on steam. He/she is online right now. Do not enter the another giveaway this person created, it is for Aliens: Colonial Marines.

If you finally don't receive the game, you won't lose anything but you will be able to join groups for those who won a game that they didn't receive :P
