I was under the impression than a game that was purchased before it's release and kept as a Gift in the inventory was identified as a Pre-Order copy and retaining the Bonuses that would come with it. In the case of Witcher 3 there is no mention at all of Pre-Order or Pre-Purchase or anything of the kind on the Gift description.. is there a chance that the gift doesn't get the Bonuses for whoever activates it after the release?

Was there a previous occurence of a game with Pre-Purchase Bonuses but that the gift would not get those if it was claimed after the release date?

Please no opinions.. I'd like to know on facts.

Well just Yes wasn't totally clear considering I ask more questions in my OP.. 'Yes' they should always retain Bonuses and 'No' it never happened that a Gift didn't follow that rule then.
