Dead Space series maybe? Unitologists and religious monsters, which you have to cut through with a plasma cutter. Nothing is more religious than that. Trust me, I'm an engineer ;)

I think you're asking for games with the names of religious figures in the names or those using religious symbols. For most games, religion is a stat which modifies your character's abilities or merely background story.

But consider religion in a wider context.

Dear Esther totally eschews displays of religiosity, yet is profoundly religious in its questing.

Similarly, The Stanley Parable looks at morality and agency and while it is not religious in symbology, it is religious in character.

Both seek to explore the BIG QUESTIONS which drive humanity to religion, be it supernatural or secular: questions of life and death and despair.

Well, I was going to suggest Adam's Venture trilogy(It's kind of like a religious uncharted) but when I checked to get the URL it was removed from the store. A game called "Adam's Venture chronicles" is coming soon.....i'm going to assume it's just the 3 (Small) games combined into one larger game. Only thing I can think of anyway.

if you don't like it being a public forum and people being able to freely comment on your topics whether you like it or not - set up your own forum and write with yourself all alone there. As long as you're here thou you have no right to decide who can and cannot write comments in your topic.

commenting isn't spamming. Before you start to threathen people maybe learn the definition first ;) I know, you're scared the moment you hear word "learn" but trust me, it's not so hard!

Let me help you - did we advertised something? no. Did we posted malicious links? no. So we did not commit ad spam.

Next: Did we post the same msg over and over with the same msg? Did we do so in order to distrupt the flow of communication between you and other people attending discussion? No. So we did not commit flood spam.

Did we posted in thread even if you personally do not like us and don't wish us to post in your public topic on public forum. Yes. But it's not spamming, so tough luck, suck on it as you have no permission to prohibit anyone from publicly comenting on SG.

But hey! feel free to report us again and "get us banned" again like you did last time. It surely worked great seeing we're all here and only person getting suspended back then was you for your hate speech :D:

did these two images were attached to comments replying to main topic? no there were both attached to comments in sub-discussion tree both being relevant to this subdiscussion :>

Also ohh I'm so sad for being blacklisted and excluded from all of your many many top quality GAs :D:

And what I'm doing? commenting - you blacklisting me or me blacklisting you means you cannot enter my GAs and I cannot enter your GAs. Blacklisting doesn't mean I cannot enter or comment on your topics.

You can't call something spam just because the person is saying something you don't want to hear.

You are looking like quite the amazing member of the community here...if trolling I must say good work, however a part of me believes you are not trolling and actually believe the words you are typing which just blows my mind.

You sir have won the award for the dumbest person I have encountered today, and I went to Wal-Mart earlier if that tells you anything.

You know, you could start all over, and people would eventually stop giving you shit, your beliefs wouldn't even matter all that much, as long as you worked on your attitude problem.
But...you know, this is just an advice, you can take it or leave it

And I was 'told' that RE4 was religious and offensive for Islam. I don't understand why, though.

people went all rage "anti0-Islamic", "racist" etc on RE4 because in it you kill a lot of zombified black muslims - nobody thought that as the game is set in Africa it would be kinda strange that it would feature zombified asian budhists ;) Generally almost nothing religion-related in RE4 othar than drama around it and drama is kinda pointless - if game takes place in African islamic country it's obvious that your enemies will be black muslims.

Love the similarly "smart" complains about non-caucasians being underrepresented in maybe... Witcher? In a game that's based on books from a central/easter-european country, and folklore of the same region? :D How daaare any country have different ethnical groups and combination of them than the US :D

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

yeah, not only origin of authors, but also the fact that geographical regions of the books and the games are based on northern and eastern european cpuntries. And what ethnicity is most present in Eastern/Norters europe? hmm... :D:

Actually I find more racist for example putting a steorytypical "gangsta-nigga" into a setting he clearly doen't fit, having him purely written (because if he's being written by someone from country that doesn't have black ppl how can writers know how to write them? they will just purely imitate media stereotypes) and force him into a game to enforce it's "diversity".

I couldn't facepalm hard enough when in the movie The Book of Life the Candlemaker, who creates every soul, who is above Life and Death is portrayed as a big, happy, good-willing version of ..Zeus, so to say. Like this and for whatever reason, he's got the most "black, comedy relief-person" voice. It just destroys the character. I mean, This in a movie about Mexican mythology and customs?

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

Hey it's Ice Cube:P Seriously though I found it more egregious that one of the main Mexican characters was played by Channing "meathead" Tatum who's as white as it gets, mate.

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

Yes, that was also a little strange. My only problem with The Candlemaker was that ... I don't know, his role was quite important in the story. Not to mention in the world of the movie. And the comedy relief (In a movie really, really aimed at children) was really uncalled for, the movie never got that serious. Also, I was the only one who felt there was a lot of "meme"-releated joke ?

ahh, mea culpa ;p been to long since I played it ;P Ofc I was talking about RE5 not RE4. Now I'm confused - why would anyone take RE4 anty-islamic... I remember there was a flamewar over RE5 because "why are you killing black muslims in africa, you racist islamophobes!" but don't really remember any outrage over RE4...
