And as usual I missed out. I like to get keys for my RL friend for decent games to tax his laptop. I won it a few weeks ago here.
And no I am NOT going to be taking any from anyone here.

I wasn't arguing that it wasn't. I happened to win it here before the giveaway that I did not know about.

There it is, now u feel me! But I think it just because mods don't want the give-away-guy to get contribute points , can't blame them for that.

Had great fun playing Civ V after winning that last year, but nothing will beat feeling really down and logging on to a fallout 4 win, really just turned my whole week around. Going through a bit of an unlucky phase right now but im hoping to be lucky enough to win unbox in the next few days hehe :))
Congrats on Payday 2 as well. i bought that during a steam sale but never played it for long. Its great fun though

I have had some nice wins, but truthfully...the space cat gives me a buzz each time I see him. I generally enter for some little indie games, like the rpg maker games, hogs. Lot of those are on my wishlist so will put points on them using the wishlist page. If I win, am really happy :)

o...oh no
do you get motion sick from any 3d person games or just 1st person ones?

I got two really nice games outside of Steamgifts (BL Pre-Sequel and Pillars of Eternity) but for reasons I haven't played them yet - I was really, really happy and astonished that somebody thought I deserve them, and because of that I feel bad for haven't played them properly yet, but I still know that it was a good choice from them because I like both of them.
On SG the best win of mine would be ... I think Ori and the Blind Forest, because I could play it pretty soon afterwards and it was a really good-looking game that really catered to my tastes with hard platforming and stylish, cool graphical style. I still feel warm and fuzzy if I think about how happy I was playing it, and how grateful I am for getting it :)

Felt really good when I won Rocket league when I first started out on this site. Enjoyed it for a while, then I realise I should stop entering as many GAs as possible unless I really want to play the game. So now I only enter WL GAs

My first high value was Doom last October. Scared the CRAP out of me as I NEVER expect to win.
In the middle of a Dark Souls 2 session when I get a friends request. So I minimize and see we have a similar group in common. When the guy said congrats, I was confused until I went and looked. Almost crapped my pants when I saw that I won Doom. AWESOME game, but it's proven that IF I can get a new job I need a new pc finally.

I've won a fair number of good things here on SG, but then again I try to enter only for games I really want to play.
My absolute best so far has been Planetary Annihilation: TITANS

Giving away really good games is more exciting to me than winning them. I only enter wishlisted games so I rarely enter GA's much less win them. Plus I also have a huge backlog and often stare at my library trying to convince myself to play something new.... but always end up back in a sandbox title like factorio, rimworld, etc. I wish steam had a feature of 'launch random library title'... I would absolutely use it since when I start a new previously unplayed title from my library it takes me about 2 hours to select one.... that is probably sad but still true.

Yeah lately I'm playing a lot of Portal 2 Community Test Chambers trying to get myself to play something else.
I believe it's sensory overload (too much information, too many choices)

I was like "WTF ??? I can't believe in my eyes !!" when I won Payday 2 (just like you :D ). I still remember that night when I randomly entered a GA that was nearly ended, then 20 mins later the winning notification appeared like a charm xD

Alright so today I got my first REALLY good game from steamgifts (Payday 2, thanks grzechotnik). FIrst of all let me just say this, when I started using SG I though when I got my first game that I really wanted I would flip out but truthfully I was more like Oh, Thats cool, I'll do a giveaway of a good game to balance things out and I was pretty casual about it.
Was this the same reaction you got? Answer the poll (Btw I wasnt trying to sound ungrateful in this post cause I am LOVING the game! Thanks again grzechotnik)
EDIT: Looks like I did the poll wrong, Answer the one that says dont answer if you had the same reaction as me
