Hey guys!

I have a Question about the last humble bundle.
I bought it some days ago, so i also got the game they added the second week.

I already own those "games", i speak about

  • Autonomos Prototype
  • Black lake Prototype
  • Costume quest Prototype
  • Hack n' Slash Prototype
  • Happy Song Prototype
  • Spacebase DF-9 Prototype
  • The White Birch Prototype

And i also own those prototype coz i bought the Amnesia Fortnight bundle.

So my question is: i can giveway them here on steamgift?
My account its already a 30.00$ account, so i dont care about contributin (i think i cant get more from humble bundle) but if i can give it to some stranger, i will do it.

I think you can't give the prototypes away. But you can always do a keydrop or sth. :)

Or give them to a friend

do you see them in the giveaway list...if no, then you can't. But you are free to make forum giveaways.

You can give the keys away by posting them in the forum or making a puzzle, but you can not create a giveaway.

he means that you cant buy the prototypes in the steamstore (they are prototypes for games, so thats pretty logical:P). Games have to be in the steamstore, if not that you cant make a regular giveaway. You can do a puzzle on the forum tho

these keys are entirely different than the double fine bundle though. The double fine bundle is something steam sells, nothing to do with the humble. it just happens to contain brutal legend stacking psychonauts and costume quest, with earlier versions switching ironbragade brutal legend, and way earlier ones having only stacking psychonauts and costume quest. all configurations being acceptable as long as its labeled as such.

so people have been gifting the below average keys as it.

the prototypes have nothing to do with that.

they aren't available in the steam store which means steamgifts doesn't have an entry for it. so theres nothing you could list them under.(also not sure but I think prototypes probably fall under the betakeys rule so you can't gift them here anyway) so not through the steamgifts system no.

you could still post a its to hard or other puzzle here with the keys as a reward, or do a straight key drop or something though.

I don't think the prototypes would count as beta keys. Even though they are called prototypes, they are still finished products. The beta keys rule is for keys that will only grant limited or temporary access to a game. The prototypes keys grant full permanent access to the games; it's just that the games happen to be labeled as prototypes.

I think it's solely a matter of cg needing to add the prototypes manually for them to show up.
