The original Starcraft

When I was little I played both Heavy Metal and Kiss Psycho Circus on demo CDs that came from magazines and they blew my mind!

halo 1 and 2

Wizardry 1-3
Dark Castle
Railroad Tycoon 1
Grand Theft Auto 1

I'm pretty sure the rest of what I used to play is now unplayable, even for nostalgia's purposes

oh, and Torment. I know it's on gog, but I want it on steam

I'd much rather buy these on GOG than Steam, but as long as they are DRM-free after installation I wouldn't really care so long as they have official licensing and distribution:

• Mechwarrior Series (especially Mechwarrior 2 & 3)
• The Maxis classic catalog: Sims 1, Sims 2, SimCity 3000, SimGolf, SimTower, SimAnt, etc.
• The Sierra adventure games not yet released: The Colonel's Bequest, Codename: Iceman, Conquests of the Longbow games
• Jones in the Fast Lane

Also, in case anyone is interested, there is a GOG community wishlist that accumulates votes for old games you'd love to see with official digital distribution and 100% DRM-Free. Many games on that list have had official releases on GOG as a result of their popularity. If you truly want to see these games distributed on PC again with excellent attention to detail in the ports, as well as to be DRM-Free and forever in your collection with a legal and official license, please take a look and vote on your favorites!
