Enslaved: Odyssey to the West - they did a real good job in character writing and animation. One of the few games that I was actually sad when it ended. Might only be for consoles though.

Nope. SPOILERALERT Jason stays at Rook Island and nobody knows what happens with him.

It has multiple endings, one of which ends with the story DEFINITELY coming to an end. And much like the 3 previous installments, number 4 is also most likely going to have absolutely nothing to do with the previous games' stories. Just because one of the endings is a little vague doesn't automatically mean there's going to be a continuation of it. An actual sequel to the game is highly unlikely.
As far as the other guy bringing up Blood Dragon... that's just laughable. It has absolutely zero to do with Far Cry 3. It's a different game with a different story and different characters, and in the end the only things the 2 games have in common are the mechanics of how the game plays.

To this day I'm surprised that Nintendo approved the original Bad Fur Day in the first place.

Gladius for the orignal Xbox. Considered one of the most underrated games of its time due to terrible marketing, but the game itself was a blast for me. No sequels or prequels at all.

Actually...

Although notch backed out of funding psychonauts 2 it is still possible that they will make it.

Remember Me - came out in June. There MAY be a sequel/prequel in the works, but nothing has been officially stated and I can tell you that the story does wrap up rather well.

They tried actually, it had commercials, ads in magazines, and a trailer right in the Baldur's Gate game.
The problem (IMO) was that Baldur's Gate took so many kudo's that no one really paid attention to it. I am sure glad I did, I liked Baldur's Gate a lot, but I found Planescape SO much more innovative and interesting.

Breath of Death VII kind of implies there was a BoD I-VI... but there really wasn't. Good game. As is Cthulhu Saves the World.

Fahrenheit. A must play, even though it was released in 2005.

Hi o/
I'm looking for some new games and would like see some recommendations :)
But these games must be finished within one game; no sequels or prequels or whatever :) Just one game that concludes the story!
Something like Shadow of the Colossus for example-
Thanks~
