If I hadn't already used my coupon on Ace Patrol, I'd probably bite on that. Ace Patrol's a pretty neat game, though. And its actually two games, both of which earn cards.

The obvious way is to have someone in the US buy it for you I guess, but I'm not really keen on trading money for a key, and I have no friends I can trust in NA.

But why? Borderlinx is exactly what you need.
They'll provide you a valid US address, you can use for amazon. It's legal and for digital goods you don't need to pay a cent, since there's no shipping cost.
