Recommend games for old laptop

Any 2D game. Any 3D game before 2012. The HD 3000 is not as weak as many people think, I saw a video of some semi-recent SPlinter Cell running on it at 20-24 fps.

Torchlight II, Age of Empires II, any click adventure game and so on :P hd3000 is not that bad, and if you play on a low resolution and low graphic settings you can play a lot of games

FTL, Risk Of Rain, Nuclear Throne

The classic Rollercoaster Tycoon games (1 and 2) are amazing. There should also be some older LEGO games you should be able to play (Star Wars Complete Saga is a great one that should work).

Pretty sure Nuclear Throne, Enter the Gungeon, Hotline Miami, Poker Night in the Inventory, Stardew Valley, and Game Dev Tycoon will work.

Morrowind.

Perhaps "Vampire the Masquerade - Bloodlines" ... if that's your thing?
It's on sale, it's fairly old so it should work just fine on older Hardware and
with that unofficial patch it doesn't really look old.

I recommend Depth(now 5,74€ on steam) on steam its game about sharks vs humans and now you can get 1 skin for day.
The next is Battlefield Bad Company 2 now its 2,49€ and free to play SMITE :)

Have you tried CS:GO on it? Surprised how well it runs on my quite epically shit 525m, can't speak to how the 3000 compares honestly but who knows :)

I am running Iron sky: Invasion very well on my Q8400 PC.
Although it is a mixed game but it's fun enough.
But remember, only purchase it when 90% off or more XD

If you like your strategy games, you can't get much better than Supreme Commander: Forged Alliance IMHO.
Currently 75% off in the Steam Sale at $3.74, and your laptop spec should handle it no problem.
Very much still an active community within the free Forged Alliance Forever mod/addon, that also improves the netcode reliability and adds a lot of balancing.
