In short: Gacha game but instead of "pulling characters" you pull outfits and other accessories.

It looks ok but I cant get over the art-style of the main character (she looks very doll-like to point its uncanny and creepy to me)

Dressing up pretty girl? Nice. I don't like "cozy" games though.
Add extreme violence and gore to that and I'm in :)

This looks like some really standard, barebones, lacking, gatcha, trash korean sandbox game. To me this looks incredibly boring. FFXIV has much better outfits, dyable, pieces that fit well with other sets, and you can play with actual people and there's much more to do. You also have an active RP/Screenshot community if you want that. Keep in mind it's "Free to Play" with "in-app purchases" meaning if you don't buy their loot boxes or whatever, your experience will feel like shit. All their previous games are mobile games too.

Also this is listed as multiplayer, however that's not exactly true, because once you're in game you can add someone to your friendlist and chat with them, that's it. There's no actual playing with people.

Is it like Genshin Impact? I have played Genshin as a f2p player and I found the experience to be reasonable.

I highly doubt it delivers 20% of the combat/complexity of genshin impact. Or if you mean the shop, it's more like battepasses in the shop, you pay $17 for an outfit and some weekly monthly pass that I assume gives you crystals to use on buffs or something. So if you don't have potions, start paying.

I actually played a few hours of genshin and I thought it was disgusting. Within the first hour I already wasn't understanding the game design and purpose. But if you liked it, this can't be that bad, more sandbox than genshin for sure so less content.

Yeah, I meant the shop... as long I can complete the story without being forced to pay I am fine.

I liked Genshin mainly because it is open world and it had simple controls.

To answer people - no I didn't promote it for me or my son I only promoted it due to the fact I saw on a news site a bout the pre start bonus wish list event

I hope they can get 200k - wish list is there are way to track wish list amount for games/dlc?

This.. Is actually kinda appealing to me? I played it, it was kinda dumb but I liked it a bit.
I hope it has Steam achievements and I can log in to my old account, when the game first came out you got like, 250+ free pulls and I got some cute stuff.

Thanks for letting me know!

I never played it on Epic, I've used their official launcher. For the poll though, I'll pretend that I have. But I might move to Steam if there's no particular hiccups with doing so. Currently it is on maintenance regardless. I am not here to convince anyone who is against this kind of game to try it, just to give some perspective.

Unfortunately, they're launching a new version right as they just managed to make their core audience angry.

  • The new outfits have more pieces so it's basically increased pity in the worst case scenario (200 pulls to 220 pulls).
  • Mira Crown reset is increasing by a week which reduces f2p income(think of a low effort, number check equivalent of Genshin's Spiral Abyss)
  • And apparently a feeling of Nikki not being relevant in her own game that has been building from the Chinese players.
  • I think (not confirmed) that the outfit dyeing system will require materials per piece which is also annoying.

I'm mostly chill about all that as I'm not really invested in it. But I do support those being mad about it because this is a slippery slope. It's just not something that affects people getting started all that much. And the ratings are already dipping on Steam.

But excluding the drama, it's a nice comfy game for those into that kinda thing and you can do basically everything that matters for free (which is the same excuse almost everyone says for a f2p game). But for real, a lot of the 4* outfits have been more interesting and every ability has been a sidegrade (so far). Most useful thing was probably the biker outfit and that's because it was a f2p way to get a bike you could call on demand because there was already a paid way of doing that as well.

Anyway, I'll still be down to play it in between my more important manly anime style gacha games. I just hope the drama lands in favor of the players. But in the meantime, I wanna find out what the "Sea of stars" stuff is about and if that finally signifies this game turning into something a little deeper than it has been.

You only need to take a glance at the screenshots to see it's a free to play gacha slop
