Is the GeForce 620M any good?

I've got the Geforce 630M on my laptop for work. And even that thing kinda sucks. Try GT640M instead. Or better yet the GTX series (GTX 660M and up).

I got the GT650M and its works great many games you can play on the highest settings!

Well, GT650M is pretty good. I'm not sure how resource demanding GW2 is, but you should be able to play most games with decent FPS with GT640M and higher (e.g. GT650M).

My pavillion Dv6 would run the game on low BUT would create purple lines everywhere. I was able to livestream with the same laptop Fallout New Vegas on high

I have GT640M and it works very nicely. Can run Skyrim flawlessly on Ultra.

620M isn't that great, but as always laptops aren't normally built for gaming unless you want to spend a lot.

The 620M is only barely better than integrated graphics in a Trinity laptop. Don't get this laptop for gaming.

I suggest you don't get a gaming laptop. They are more expensive than a gaming desktop.

Get GT640M.. I bought Acer aspire V3-571G two days ago and so far I can run most of the recent games on medium (or even high) settings.

Get the GT 640M! With the 620M you can only play Borderlands 2 at medium settings 1280x720 and get like 45fps :|

get at least 660M it can play almost every current game at ultra settings around ~60fps.

Minecraft at ~200fps

I have a 640m and even then something like gw2 needs a few things turned down, but generally speaking I'm very pleased with the performance out of this laptop.

620m probably wont be too great.
