I beat the original puzzle but here I don't know where to even start 🙃

I'm mystified. I feel like there's a puzzle-solving class I never took or something. Don't even know what the puzzle is much less how to go about solving it.

4 hours left bump. Still not sure how to apply that yellow magic.

Finally solved. 1 hour left bump!

I tried to fumble with the image and the yellow. Led me nowhere. I'm not smart enough for these...
