[Daily Indie Game] DIG ARTIFEX Bundle #2 ❤

Not really, Artifex Mundi just releases these games on Steam when they are at the end of their normal shelf-life. These games generate their revenue on Big Fish, where they go for 20 dollar apiece for these full editions (well, 14 dollars for the really active members).

good point, re: big fish. haven't visited that site in some godawful amount of time.

though I still think they bundle them too quickly after they appear on Steam... and this probably wouldn't be the case, if they didn't crank them out so quickly, using the same engine (modified only slightly over the last several years, from what I can see)

though I suppose they must have some decent artists/writers, as all but one of their games is above 50% on reviews (w/ a majority at 90%+)

Yes, they do. They are considered one of the best developers in the hidden object genre in general. There are studios who make even better games, but not in this quantity or with this consistency.

Yeah, I bought both Indie Gala's and Game Bundle's Artifex Mundi bundles, so if I get this one, I'll be missing only:

Ah, you're counting the 2 non-bundled ones too. I wasn't, lol.

For me it's:
Eventide: Slavic Fable
The Secret Order 2: Masked Intent
Vampire Legends: The True Story of Kisilova
Fairy Tale Mysteries: The Puppet Thief

Plus the 2 unbundled:
Grim Legends 3: The Dark City
Princess Isabella: The Rise of an Heir

Getting this bundle will get me 2/4, or 2/6, lol. Hopefully I'll see Eventide and Puppet Thief soon, and also the other 2. :)

Puppet Thief is sadly not a game that should be sought after too much. It's probably the worst or second worst game in the Steam Artifex Mundi portfolio.

It can't be as bad as the Time Mysteries series... 1 is awfully bad, and 2 has a bug where if you do something, one of the puzzles become unsolvable.

It is. Time Mysteries 1 had the saving grace of being their first game, and the original edition was actually decent for its time (it also had a kick-ass hint system that sadly they scrapped in the remake). Even Princess Isabella 3 is better as it has some actual plot.
This mess has a bunch of pretty cinematics, about two dozen screens, maybe ten puzzles in total, and it was reusing HOSs so much I actually knew the item placement by heart for a few of them for the manieth revisit.
The sequel was awesome (thanks to being a sequel in name only), but this one…

If I recall right, for Bitcoins you pay the original amount (non-BTA) and you'd get 2 bundles.
(I don't think there's an option to get more bundles than that, unless someone tried it?)

Then yes, write them a letter. Your payment should also create an account there, I think. (I have a DIG account, so I can see all keys all the time, but I cannot remember if it was created or I had to make it myself.)

I already own all of them. Both Grim Legends-games are pretty good. I enjoyed Clockwork Tales, too. At the moment I'm playing The Secret Order 2 and so far it's also a nice HOG. The other two games I haven't played yet :) Can't go wrong with this bundle, if you like HOGs or wanna try them.
