I probably should change my salty review I left the game after the micro-transactions update since they've been removed since.
Eh, maybe later.

Many people (including me) never removed the negative review since them removing it didn't undo the damages. It still showed what Overkill thought of us.
It was the beginning of the end for Payday 2 and this seems to be the midpoint of this process.

Yeah, I'm still salty at the company, since they are a garbage shady developer. But I can't lie, I got my money's worth out of Payday 2. It provided a lot of entertainment even with the money I spent on the DLC's. My conscience is kicking in lol

I'd say your conscience is wrong then. (it's just a catchy phrase, not an actual attack on your judgement :D)
Think about it: You said that you got your money's worth out of Payday 2, right?
Will they still get that amount of enjoyment from it? Would the new player have as much fun as we did? I'd argue that they wouldn't.
It was the game that got us looking, but it was the community that got us hooked, I'd say. The spirit was there back then. Getting a card drop was fun, because those were the main ways to get anything cool cosmetically. Trying new heists was fun, because there wasn't really any meta that people followed. There were certain strategies for certain heists, but that's pretty much it.
Now it's either the most time-efficient stealth or the most careless loud every time. People no longer play the game to play it. They play it to just pass the time. Usually probably with something else actually in mind, like a TV show, that's playing on the other screen.
Was Payday 2 great? Yeah, it was. Is it now? No... not nearly as much as it used to be.

You are most definitely exaggerating. When the game was released, there was no infamy update, which removed the necessity for grinding. There wasn't a global meta that people generally leapt towards.
People did heists to do them.
Now, the Diesel engine has been tested rigorously by the community. Everyone knows the ins and outs of the game. Same goes with the strategies. No one tests anything, not even the new maps. It's always the same gameplay loop.
These were the reasons why this and most other communities turn toxic at some point in the lifespan of a game. People get cocky. They have inflated egos and they also are looking for the most efficient route to success.
It's no longer the minority that kicks the new players. The game itself has added a restart button now, which just encourages the maximum efficiency behavior. You don't just say "screw it" and finish a heist. It's no longer beneficial.
There were bad people, no doubting that. But it wasn't anything special compared to the others. Now though... yeah, it's one of the worst gaming communities ever.

Ahh so now the Payday bundle copy is now worthless at least for a GA.At least I assume this will be removed from creating a GA

5 million copies yup that would qualify for removal.
Except now that i think about it there would be no need as nothing was given out, it was only added to your steam account.

Quote from Starbreeze CEO
I’d like to especially clarify, that this project will enjoy as much time as we deem needed. It will be done when it’s done. This is our single most important brand today and the cornerstone of our business and we will treat it accordingly. Updates in the near future might be [scarce] and far between. You simply don’t rush Payday 3.
