Just going to say now it's not a horror game and I have no idea why people expected it to be one seeing as it says "Psychological Action Thriller" on the game box. In my opinion it's a really good game and if you can pick it up in a sale it's well worth it.

So I got two vouchers from the Autumn Seal. One for Alan Wake Collector's Edition and one for American Nightmare. When I click to use the 'Collector's Edition' one it actually says it works on the Franchise pack which saves a little more too, anyhow, I digress.
Is Alan Wake actually any good? It'd cost ~£15 using this coupon for the franchise pack. My only worry is I already have a lot of games in my backlog, albeit a lot of them are short Indie games. However I'm worried my PC backlog will end up much like my Xbox one (90+ unplayed/completed games).
I guess I want to know if people found Alan Wake an enticing game which they were able to enjoy? I've become quite cheap lately when it comes to buying games and £15 feels like a big spend for me these days! :)
