I saw Euro Truck Sim 2 Deluxe pulled from the giveaways tab.

I was going to enter it and saw that someone stated that Euro Truck Simulator 2 Deluxe was given away "en masse" for free, and the giveaway was removed. I was wondering where I could get it for free like that person suggested.

That doesn't tell me much other than what I already knew. I would have used "Is being given away for free" otherwise. My last sentence was there to ask where this had happened. Also, as to why it gets removed as a giveaway option when it cannot be obtained for free anymore.

iirc, there was a glitch with a site, and you could get keys without actually paying anything.
It's something along those lines.

If you wish to reply to someone, use the 'reply' feature underneath their comment. They cannot know that you replied to them without doing so.

I had it set up, but I refreshed the page to see if anybody else posted. When I scrolled down, it looked the same, so I thought I was still replying to him. Oh well.

I don't really understand the anti en masse.... thing. I missed out on it as well, and would rather like to win a copy of the game. But ah well.

When giving free things was allowed, there were so many giveaways that it impacted the site performance. I still remember when Dota 2 GAs were around.

It was removed from the list because it was free en masse at one point and peeps can horde keys for forever if they want to. Since the keys never expire, it will forever remain off the list to prevent exploitation.

Ah, makes sense. People could also use them to horde points towards leveling on this site... That would be a bit upsetting.

I kind of wish I had known about it... If it happened before August, then I likely wouldn't have known because I didn't have a computer.

I honestly can't remember when it happened. On the bright side, the game does get bundled every now and then so it shouldn't be too hard to get a copy for cheap eventually.

i have no idea about the deluxe bundle but i heard ets2 was free because of a glitch or something. either i got it wrong back then or the support is just sick of misleading giveaways.
