Overwatch region lock. Does new zealand count with australia?

So i bought an overwatch key and the guy said he is from australia (said the region was called APAC or smth like that) so i had a customer that needed overwatch and he said he is from new zealand and to be honest idk if they count as the same region.
anyone could help me please

Quick Google search and you end up on this: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Asia-Pacific
Australia and New Zealand are part of the Oceania / Australasia region, so yes.
