Steam: Added new device. 7 Day waiting period for device or account?

I cant accept trades at the computer I use at work.
So I read somewhere you are able to trade using your mobile phone.
It looks like that works, but because I activated a new device I got a 7 day waiting period before I can start using the trade function.

My question: Am I able to trade at home using the steamclient or does this period go for my whole account? (which would suck...)

The whole account is going to be limited.

Never heard about trading from a mobile device, seems cool !

Just use the browser on the phone ;).
It doesnt work with the Steam app though

So you can trade with the browser ?

Did some searching myself:
"Newly authorized device
If you are on a newly authorized device that has not been Steam Guarded for 15 days you will receive a 15 day restriction from trading and the Community Market. Any other devices that have been authorized for 15 days will be able to trade or use the Community Market."
I got this message:
"''You have logged in from a new device. In order to protect the items in your inventory, you will be unable to trade from this device for 7 days.''
I should be ok... I hope

You can just add people as friends and ask them to send you "trade offers". A bit late now though.

I know, but that doesnt work on the computer I use at work. I always get an error...
Cant accept and cant sent trade offers here.
So I was hoping my mobile phone could at least accept trade offers.

It doesn't affect your home computer!!! This happened to me, I lost a lot of snow globes because I was away at new years and couldn't sell or trade from a new device.

I got a trade offer pending for a game I really would love to play this evening. Was a bit worried I had to wait 7 days.

Same thing happened to me when my PC broke down of the first day of 2014. Though I managed to pass my leftover snowglobe cards to friends.
