Which is your favourite FPS game?

Quake I

FEAR both the single player and multiplayer. It far away the game I played the most. Its unique unarmed attacks are something I've never seen in other games. Win an online match without shooting a gun is priceless
Bioshock was a really good game. I just played the first one
Serious Sam it's also a good run and gun classic shooter. I like those games in which you just need to shoot without thinking.

Rising Storm/Red Orchestra 2 are my favorites although tey are nothing like Bioshock

wolfenstein series of course

Doom 2 is the one I keep going back to. It was a part of my teenage life and I have the most nostalgia for it. Great sound design, creature design, and simplified shooting mechanics help someone like me who sucks at FPS games.

I'm also extremely fond of F.E.A.R. 1, Left 4 Dead, Far Cry 3, and the recent DOOM.

This one requires a little patience because the game is old and barely supported by Valve anymore but there are good servers with good people on them if you look hard enough. I have almost 4200 hours playing it and have been playing for over 9 years.

My all time fav. is Duke Nukem 3D. Maybe a little nostalgia rose tinted glasses, since it totally blew my pubescent mind when it came out. Still, I play it from time to time and the level design is way better than a lot of the linear stuff in games today. Not really like Bioshock, though...

Other newer ones (more similar to Bioshock): The new Wolfenstein, Deus Ex, System Shock 2, Bulletstorm (kinda duke nukemy), DOOM, Dishonored, Far Cry 4, Metro 2033 Redux, Rise of the Triad (the new one, but the old is a classic also), Shadow Warrior, Dying Light, E.Y.E. Divine Cybermancy (a little more obscure but I really enjoyed it)
