Dear members of SteamGifts,
This is the group recruitment thread for our new group, Bundle Traders
Bundle Traders is a group destined for, as the name says, giveaways of bundled games. Any bundled game will be welcomed, we will not make any kind of distinction for the games given away (non-bundle games are welcomed too!). Our goal is to build a big community, based on friendship and reciprocity. To achieve these goals, we will not ask you for mandatory giveaways (besides the one needed to enter the group); if you win a game, create a new giveaway. In other words, just maintain an 1:1 ratio.
To promote friendship and reciprocity, we will have 2 groups, one main and one secondary. This will help us promote the community.
The main group will be destined to those that follow our rules.
The secondary group is for new members and for those removed from the main group. We believe everyone has the right to redeem themselves, so our punishment system for abuse will be slightly different than in other groups. If the removed member wants to return to the main group all s/he needs to do is fix their ratio by creating a giveaway of any non-bundled game. If it's all ok, an invite for the main group will be sent again.
So... resume: main group and group B have same ratio shared. The purpose of B group is test the member to see if it will be accepted in the main group. After joined on main group you will only create your giveaways there and you still can enter on B giveaways.
If you came here looking for CV, this group is not for you. 5+ entries is hard to get with very common giveaways because is 1:1. You must think this group work for trade games and sometimes you will gain CV on process. So, if only 1 person joined in your giveaway... perfect.
• At least Level 3 on SteamGifts;
• Positive or at least equal overall sent/received ratio;
• Maintain a group ratio of 1:1 or above (quantity, not value);
• Steam profile has to be public;
• Multiple or unredeemed wins will not be tolerated;
• Do not blacklist other members. If there's a problem, report it to an admin;
• Giveaways should last at least 3 days;
• New members need to create a giveaway in 24h upon entering the group, not abiding by this rule will result in a removal;
• Region locked giveaways need to be informed.
• Adding other(s) groups/whitelist to your giveaway NOT will be valid for your group ratio.
• Non-bundled games are welcomed, but not necessary;
• Members will have 1 week to fix their ratios;
• Don't leave B group after joined on main group.
• 3 months away without at least visit steamgifts.com = kick
• Most important of all: be nice and respectful!
You must post here and after that make a invite request in B group. If you only make the request without post here, the request will be ignored. If you follow our rules, you will be accepted.

Ooh, first one here! I'd like to join, thanks.
Nice, welcome =)
I'm interested, but I think you might want to wait until there are enough members before starting the gas.
welcome! no problem, create your first ga with at least one week. If u dont get 5 entries on this time, delete and create again.
I'm interested to join!
BTW: add link in thread to:
interested to join
Sounds nice. Please send me an invite.
Can't make any gibs before Monday but hopefully one day later should not be a problem.
Can you explain the one month inactivity rule. Do you mean inactive on SG at all or do you mean create at least one gib a month for the group?
As a few lines up you say just maintain a 1-1 in group ratio. Either way is fine with me but I just want to understand correctly.
welcome! u dont need create a ga every month. Just keep your ratio 1:1 or better and log on sg at least one time in the mounth.
I am Interested.
But how can a group as a whole have a 1:1 ratio? There should be at least a low negative value be an option. (like -5)
The "at keast 5 entries + no other groups + 1:1 ratio" is a really hard combination. I see it in another group with exclusives + hard ratio requirements, Most of the GAs have less than 5 entries...
hi, we are open to suggestions and ideas. Lets see how the group will progress with this ratio on the beginning and later maybe we change this for better results( voting ). you still wanna join?
Yes, invite me please. Then we can see how this evolves :)
welcome then =)
Too bad mixed giveaways dont count as ratio + 5 entries rule. Otherwise I would join.
No problem, feel free to request an invite if you change your mind.

if I understand correclty this was an attack again me? Correct me if Im wrong because enlish isnt my first language. But if it was it was totally uncalled for.
35.1% of my giveaways is public.
40.1% is group so there isnt much difference.
I have 268,7 dollar more sent in public giveaways then you. So maybe check up on facts before accusing me of something.
Im sorry, but I dont understand what I have done to you and why you are attacking me? You say I dont donate much, but even if you only look at my public giveaways I still have donated more then you. So I dont get it?
What do my original comment " Too bad mixed giveaways dont count as ratio + 5 entries rule. Otherwise I would join." have to do with me not giving away anything at all and asking for a TV?
But how do you distinguish main and secondary group?
Can the one join both of groups?
First you will be invited to the secondary group. Once you create a valid giveaway (game received and confirmed) you will automatically be invited to the main group.
We encourage members of the main group not to leave the secondary group, as you will be able to join giveaways from both groups, as long as you keep your 1:1 ratio and respect the rules.
The secondary group is for new members and for those removed from the main group. We have some plans for the near future for those that respect the rules, but first we need to see if enough people are interested in joining our group.
I've sent you an invite. Welcome!
Finally a group that is at least honest with the title when enforcing 1:1 rules :P
Still, I think you need to relax on the 5 entries rule, because if you combine that with 1:1, people will be very careful about entering anything (as to avoid a feedback loop), couple that with the usual unpopularity of bundle games and you'll just end up with everyone trying to snatch wins at below 5 entries, since the winner will not be penalized. Not saying it's going to happen, but there's a real risk.
Once the group has a significant amount of members this won't be a problem. We are currently thinking in a system to prevent abuses. Thanks for the feedback!
I guess you guys have been thinking about this quite a bit but I just have to say that as far as I can tell this problem is not going to alleviate itself with numbers, quite the contrary. Anyway, I wish you the best of luck getting the group and the policies to work out for everyone :)
Couldn't agree more with the above post by DanZDK. The requirements are gonna be very hard to keep and maintain realistically, otherwise i would consider joining. However, I wish you the best of luck with your group :)
As I replied to DanZDK, once the group has a significant amount of members this won't be a problem. We are currently thinking in a system to prevent abuses. Thanks for the feedback!
I'd love to join
I'm about to go to bed but if I can join I'll make a giveaway when I wake up :)
Invite sent. Welcome!
Let's try, I want to join.
May I get an invitation?
Hello, I'm interrested. Can I join?
How we enter?
Check your steam messages. U get a invite right? If not, i can send again.
Thanks I got it ;).
About the 5 entries, I made a slight remark in this rule to tranquilize those who are very worried about it.
I'm a bit curious about the 1:1 ratio and how it's going to work out. It seems to me that getting entries in this group will be pretty hard with this ratio.
Edit: As usual i should have read the entire thread before posting. I can see that others have formulated my concerns in a better way already.
We updated our rules, if by the end of your giveaway it has under 5 entries you can delete it and report to an admin, then create another giveaway with no penalties.
Come on people, there is no need to worry about ratio 1:1 (quantity, not value), games given will just be bundle games worth cents (the great majority at least)... It's not so hard to keep a a satisfactory ratio in this case. Please read the main post carefully. Even the name of the group is self explanatory, Bundle Traders, we give games and win others games, a little cv and friendships. That's good for us =)
That is not the problem. An entire group, especially over a handful of people, with a 1.00 ratio rule is mathematically impossible. That is the digital equivalent of the very old and true form of communism, where everyone is totally and utterly the same in wealth. No society, not even the most primitive ones, has ever achieved that.
You can create a group where the average is around 1.00±5% with a lot of regulation and micro-management, but only as long as you constantly get fresh blood and remove old members—meaning, it needs to be a low-level pyramid scheme to be sustainable. Otherwise, a 0.50 ratio is what you may call sustainable without any real effort… maybe 0.66, if the group leadership is pretty fucking good at managing..
If it is a closed group, it won't work, ever. The only reason SteamGifts as a whole managed to grind out almost 1% with something you may call a decent ratio is because 85% of the users have 0.00.

Fico no aguardo do possível convite :)
"At least 5 entries per giveaway, otherwise it will not count towards your ratio (and the winner's), if u don't get 5 entries in the last mins, you are free to delete and make other giveaway, just report admin about that if you need more time to fix your ratio."
As someone who was admin for a bit in a group of around 100 that rule is going to be a real nightmare to keep up with as time goes on. SG counts it toward ratio as long as it has at least 1 entry, meaning you will need to monitor the GAs constantly and keep a consistent log that differs from what's shown on group SG list.
I do wish you the best of luck the group and hope it goes well :)
I will personally do the control of the ratio and everyone in the group will be able to see on google sheets.
Sure, count me in =)
I like the sound of 'good ratio' better than 'bad luck'... ^^
ok, please invite me if I qualify
lol, welcome =)
I wouldn't mind joining. (◕‿-)✌
Hello everyone! We've updated the main post to better clarify the 1:1 ratio and "5 entries" rules.
Feel free to request an invite :)
Hmm, lot of gibs with less than 5 entries still.
Bump for more members! =)
To all group members: don't worry about the 5 entries rule, as we've updated it. If by the end of the GA you don't meet the 5 entries just delete and create it again.
It will be a bit annoying at first but once we get around 50 members things will be easier. From 100 onwards we won't even remember haveing to deal with this :)
Yes, I was going to ask about this, as you can see my gib only has 2 entries as of now. I will give it a couple more days to see how it goes I guess.
We'll have to be patient in the beginning. Don't be afraid to remake the ga if needed.
Yes, I canceled the giveaway and will remake it once we have more members.
