Hopefully this wouldn't be too difficult to implement. Looking back at my previous wins, I remembered that I cannot see the details of a giveaway I have won because I am no longer part of the group (e.g. Unlucky 7).

My suggestion is to make at least won giveaways viewable. This would be nice so I can go back and thank giveaway creators after I have played a game, or to double check that a user that have given me a game is whitelisted by me.

What should we be able to see if we leave a group?

View Results
Nothing
Won only
Entered and won

You can do both by going on your won games page and click on the creator's name. Won't allow to thank creator in the giveaway itself, but can be done in any other public or active GA.

Normally users are removed from the group when they broke a rule or are no longer eligible part of the group. So there would be users that go back to group GAs to attack group members. Or you may have private links in GA descriptions that are accessible only to current group members. Sadly, like always, majority of people behave but small portions act entitled >_>

That is a fair point. I didn't think of the private links, which indeed could be a problem. The main reason I would not want to thank in a separate giveaway is it can be confusing at best or annoying at worst.

I don't think this response reflects how things currently work.

In my view of my Won games, the creator of some GAs is given as "?" and the type is given as "Blacklist" -- but these are actually wins from a group I'm no longer a member of.

I'm adding a screenshot of some of my wins from Unlucky7, a group I was a member of, but am now not a member of. At the moment I'm only on 3 persons' blacklists, and there are 5 wins in this screenshot. I don't think those 5 wins were from those 3 community members who blacklisted me.

Those details in the Won giveaways page are not part of vanilla SG. They're added by this optional feature in ESGST.
https://www.steamgifts.com/account/settings/profile?esgst=settings&id=cewgd

I'm guessing ESGST assumes that you're blacklisted since it can't read those GAs anymore.

You can check who created those GAs by searching for them in your won games user page.

3 blacklists in 10 months? That's very impressive. I think I got 2 or 3 my first few weeks just for saying thanks in the comments. I'm up to 47 now! 🤪

Ah! Thanks, PK! And sorry, MSKOTOR!

I was checking: https://www.steamgifts.com/giveaways/won
... and that's where the screenshot is from.

At one point I wanted to Whitelist everyone I had won a game from, and I couldn't see those gifters from U-7. Now I can!

3 vs. 47 -- I must not be expressing myself enough!! It's sad that in 10 months the community hasn't learned to appreciate what a %&$#@#%& I am. Only a shrewd few has seen me truly.

Here's an even faster way of seeing who you won games from (or who won games from you). It even shows you a cute little podium and all. What more could you ask for!

Cool, thanks!

Those pages're snazzy, but the one from earlier ...https://www.steamgifts.com/user/Fitz10024/giveaways/won... let me catch up on my Whitelisting.

The page you refer to does not show the creator by default. It must be some script you're using. Also, it would be best to not show actual keys you won, unless you want to see some weird messages of someone trying to recover "their" account with your key :D

I was referring to this page:
https://www.steamgifts.com/user/MSKOTOR/giveaways/won

You can see who the creator of the giveaway was there. But it will not give name of the group itself.

If you remember the name of the group you left or was kicked out, you can search for it on Steam and then use Augmented Steam to follow the link to the SG group page:
https://steamcommunity.com/search/groups/#text=unlucky7

You will be listed as a winner of the giveaway you're looking for.

Since the necro damage is done, let me provide some follow up on the above. The won games page does not list the GA creator's name, at least for me. I am using vanilla SG.

I was referring to the user-name/giveaways/won page, not giveaways/won page. Sorry about the confusion:
https://www.steamgifts.com/user/MSKOTOR/giveaways/won

This page should list the name of the giveaway creator, at least it does for me. If you see "?" instead of some creator names, then I stand corrected. I do by default have access to information not available to normal users, and sometimes take what I see as what everyone else sees.

Oh perfect, that makes sense. That worked exactly as intended. Thank you :)
