Battlefield 4 - What do you think about it?

Their "new" game looks awful.

I don't even have high hopes for multiplayer. I've already fallen into that trap once and I'm not about to fall for it again.

Looks like BF to me. Whats with the hate?
(I might be biased. Have every BF game cept for BF3 on origin. Have it on xbox as at the time PC couldnt run it. I dont own any BF3 DLC other then Karkand. I enjoy the game as is.
BF2 is my favorite.)

Meh, the shooting looks the same as BF3, I want to see some ship vs ship action.

i'm more into singleplayer games and the BF3 sp was really bad. So no, i won't get this until it is heavily discounted.

Actually, I like it. I was too stingy and haven't bought a BF3Premium, and now i donn't see a reason to buy it, so i'll pre-order digital deluxe of the new one BF4 :3

Still waitin for some Bad Company 3...

I'll be avoiding this like the plague, along with BF5 in 2014 & BF6 in 2015.

Meh, The footage of the single player looks too much like the average on-rails "look at our Michael Bay imitation setpieces" fare for me.
The psuedo-realistic modern-day setting is also a turn-off for me.

I'm looking forward more to the XCOM shooter - few years ago the devs behind that stated they wanted to provide broad-stroke scenarios that get filled in by emergent behavior from AI interacting with the player's action, as part of moving the franchise's spirit over to a new genre. If they can actually pull that off, that'll be a reason enough to play it for me.

At one side I think it's unbeilevably silly. The events in the trailer must have been written by a 12 year old. By now we all agree that Origin is a less reliable place to spend money at than a shifty porn site and should not be used by any sane person, so that's a huge minus as well. An another turn of the wheel to derail the genre deeper into moron lane and may do damage to actually decent games by grabbing their market.

On the other hand, at least there will be two major franchises that will filter out any racial slur screaming douches and allow players of normal games to enjoy their online game with a lesser number of idiots. Hopefully.

It's EA and therefore off my radar.

Origin works fine, after watching the trailer, I would say it looks much more stunning than bf3 since it uses forstbite 3. It looks more like a dx 11 game at a high level of details.
Preoder gives you the premium expansion pack means you pay once and get the full game.( I think so if premium pack will include all dlc) GMG offer 59.99 with cash back or GMG credit. I recently don't have that money on a game but if I have, I think I will get it.

Well... I got BF3 for free and I enjoy playing it, but I wouldn't even buy Premium, which isn't really different to BF4, except for the enhanced graphics, I guess. It's just not worth the money, in my oppinion.

I'm pretty much done with the Battlefield series. BF2 has been a to to game for me for five years, and I also got in decent amounts of time on 2142 and BC2. But I just dislike how they turned BF3 into a COD-esque score chase, with unlock carrots all the way (most of them being utterly useless). I just didn't enjoy BF3 as much as I hoped I would. Also I am a bit disenchanted with the way EA released 5 map packs in a short amount of time, essentially splitting the community with each pack, and doubling the price of the final game with all the maps.

In short, I don't think I will be getting BF4.

I think that i must buy new PC to play it in medium+ so i wont buy neither of them :P

Looks really interesting though. Very detailed environment and shit.
