Tales From the Borderlands Ubisoft Store Question

Can anyone confirm if purchasing the game from Ubisoft will give me a Steam key?

Wanted to get it because of the buy one get one free promotion currently active. Thanks in advance.

No. Telltale doesn't give Steam-keys anymore.

Any game bought directly from Ubisoft will be for Uplay and only work on Uplay.

Except for those that are Steamworks, i.e. South Park, Lara Croft 2, etc.

Not at all true. Steamworks games (like South Park) give a Steam key, Origin games (like DA: Inquisition) give an Origin key and uPlay games (like Watch_Dogs) give a uPlay key.

Please don't answer questions when you don't know the answer.

99% chance it will use TellTale's wonky ass DRM. I sent an email to UbiStore to confirm and will post the reply when they write back.
