I won a fake giveaway once, but it was not on SteamGifts.
And it appears I wasted 50p on that giveaway too. :( I was too lazy to chech.

Implying that those points are actually worth something and can be "wasted" :P

Anyway, the people who enter thsese giveaways dont seem to be that clever...

Won 2 fake giveaways, you can only see one in my profile because the other one was removed by a mod or admin, can't remember though.

I entered Call of Duty World at War a while back just to use mods in it (and I could brag to my brother) and I won, but the guy who did it entered one giveaway and then created it... It sucks when you lose to games like that... Now, I wasn't just insanely disappointed, but I would hate to have won something like Tomb Raider and it be fake...

You didn't waste anything, your points were returned to you when the giveaway was deleted.

I did a month ago. I have since started to evaluate giveaways more carefully. While it's true that the lost points are no big deal, the disappointment was. It was a game I had wanted to try and was excited to have won.
