Gala Giveaways is closing down

Meh. Never won shit, had someone using my name in the chat to try and scam people. No loss to me. :P

I won a few giveaways there, and ninjed a lot of keys from the chat, but left months ago.
It was a meh site overall, probably won't miss it much.

I won some games there, and the first one was an used key.

Not trying to be mean saying this, but I think someone has English reading comprehension issues.
The trades feature is a new feature on the main Indiegala site. It's not actually the same feature as on GalaGiveaways at all, and is far more limited in some ways, so it's not a 'remnant' at all anyway. The main point though, is that their statement is that they are in the process of moving the features. That's what the word "migrate" means - transferring from one location to another. They are moving the features from GalaGiveaways over to the main indiegala site. It's not that they are only moving trades over, which is what you seem to believe, but rather that trades is the first of the features they have implemented over on the main site.

Per their statements, the GalaGiveaways site will be closed, but the giveaways are intended to continue through their main site instead of the offshoot, and with better support. Nothing they said there can be accurately interpreted to mean what you've stated in the OP.

Won there once (Don't Starve) but always forget to login

Never won anything on there and the site is slow af. I don't really care if it shuts down.
