I sent in a support request just to confirm that this is also the case for the US, where it does not have that Steam disclaimer on the web page. I'll also ask about single vs. multiple keys if I get a response.

If it is one key, might we be able to use Steam DB to find out what's in it.? Maybe not now, but perhaps a bit closer to when they put it out there? They don't reveal package names anymore, but if a new package of Square Enix games shows up then it would likely be it.

The Steam key disclaimer has been removed from the EU store page.
Now the page doesn't even mention Steam. If I remember correctly, except for the main page previously saying "You will receive a Steam key upon purchase. Activate through your Steam account.", Steam was also mentioned in the System Requirements as well. In case it was, it's gone too.
This doesn't have to mean that you won't get a Steam key/Steam keys. It might just be that there will be separate keys, and they removed the old statement to not cause confusion about it being a single key for all games.
Edit: According to Square Enix support, there will be some Steam keys, see the reply I got.

Well, the NA bundle is a bit more expensive so I hope it is better. Also, according to the sites the reveal is not at the same time (the NA bundle is hours later).

Half the fun was guessing the games based on the system requirements and such, and this year there's nothing.

The thing is, while they did have a relatively decent (great even) holiday bundles in the past, they pretty much ran out of good games to give away. Considering those bundles are made of Eidos games only, and not Square ones... I got their 2014 - 2015 bundles but will definitely skip this one.
