Well, thank you :P And if you want to complete the game for 100%, just remember that one water tower is bugged and cannot be found&destroyed :| I had fun for straight 86 hours, so have fun too without problems!

thats very interesting, I wouldn't think that windows 7 would crash the game. I would recomend messing around with the video options inside the game. besides that this might help some https://www.jc-mp.com/forums/index.php?topic=481.0

Turning off the decals is the answer in most cases of crash in Just Cause 2. Shame but you won't miss them after playing couple of hours without them ^^ Hopefully JC 3 will be as good as the second one!

I had a problem playing the multiplayer it kept crashing on me...I found that the Raptr or AMD Gaming Evolved app was the problem...Once I closed that it worked fine afterwards.

Disable decals, and like Ultraman said, disable any additional "in-game" apps. You can also try running in windowed mode.

Glad you managed to solve it, but if it will happen again you could find more spot-on help by giving also some other details from the problem details (http://support.moonpoint.com/security/antivirus/avast/avast-ie9/ie-stopped-working-details.png on Win7, but I'm pretty sure you'll find them on any OS)

Always verify your game files and check to make sure the settings you have aren't too much for your hardware
